Tapas restaurant opens for business in Didsbury village

Didsbury is to get a brand new Spanish restaurant.
The team behind El Rincon has announced it is to open a casual dining restaurant in the affluent South Manchester suburb.
Rafa’s will be located in the heart of Didsbury village on the busy Wilmslow Road and will serve contemporary Spanish food.
The tapas restaurant has said it will serve traditional dishes as well as gluten free and vegan options.
The drinks menu is largely Spanish and features beers, wines and coffees.
El Rincon de Rafa on Deansgate has been a popular venue for around 25 years.
Founder Rafael Cabrera-Vargas, said: “We chose to open in Didsbury because it’s a thriving village with a real food and drink hub that we’re pleased to now be a part of.
“We’re looking forward to welcoming the local residents whether they’re new to Spanish cuisine or regulars from El Rincón and getting to know our new home.”
Rafa’s in Didsbury is open seven days a week from midday until midnight at 653 Wilmslow Road.
